Josep Colom

General Management

Josep Colom is one of the most remarkable pianists on the current European scene and one of the most distinguished voices in Spanish pianism in recent decades. Winner of the National Music Prize in 1998, following his debut at the Théâtre des Champs Elysées in Paris in 1979, Le Monde wrote: “a performance that makes one forget the rest.” Since then, he has toured the five continents regularly to give recitals and perform concerts with orchestras (English Chamber Orchestra, RAI orchestras of Naples and Maastricht, Gulbenkian, Prague Radio Symphony Orchestra, Strasbourg Philharmonic, Bamberg Symphoniker, Zagreb Philharmonic, and almost all Spanish orchestras) as well as collaborating in chamber music with a wide variety of ensembles and performers. His latest recording with Eudora, featuring Mozart’s Sonatas K. 333, 457, 545, and 576, recorded in 2023, has just been released, with Luca Chiantore noting: “This album presents Mozart’s music as we have never heard it in the entire history of phonography.”

Recently, he has performed in Mexico and Portugal, as well as at the Scherzo Great Performers Cycle, Fundación March, Soloists and Chamber Music Cycle of Salamanca, and Palau de la Música de Valencia.
