Winner of several competitions, both with the violin and the viola (Salzburg, Munich, Genoa, Tokyo,…), he has performed with orchestras such as the BBC Symphony, London Philharmonic, Bayerisches Rundfunkorchester, AKAMUS Berlin, Camerata Salzburg, Tokyo Philharmonic, baroque orchestras of Venice and Seville,… He collaborates regularly with conductor Klaus Mäkelä, with whom he has performed the Sibelius Concerto in Helsinki on the composer’s birthday. He has toured Japan and in summer 2019 was artist in residence at the Turku Festival in Finland. He performs frequently at venues such as the Berlin Konzerthaus and Philharmonie and this season will make his debut at the Konzerthaus Wien, Boulez-Saal in Berlin and with the hr-Sinfonieorchester in Frankfurt.
