Isaac Galán, born in Zaragoza, began his vocal studies at the Professional Conservatory of Music in his hometown and continued at the Queen Sofía School of Music, under the guidance of Teresa Berganza, Tom Krause, and Manuel Cid. He later attended the Operastudio at the Zurich Opera House for one season. He has been a finalist and award winner in international competitions such as the Francisco Viñas and Manuel Ausensi in Barcelona, and won the Audience Prize at the Lyrical Ambassadors competition in Montreal (Canada).

As a soloist, he has worked with renowned conductors including Lorin Maazel, Riccardo Muti, Zubin Mehta, Ivor Bolton, Alberto Zedda, Ottavio Dantone, Philippe Entremont, Sir Andrew Davis, Jesús López Cobos, Dennis Russell Davies, Plácido Domingo, Nicola Luisotti, and Bruno Campanella. For three seasons, he was a soloist at the Landestheater Linz, performing roles such as Figaro in The Barber of Seville, Count in The Marriage of Figaro, Lescaut in Manon, Orphée in Philip Glass’s Orphée, Testo in Monteverdi’s Il Combattimento di Tancredi e Clorinda, Papageno in The Magic Flute, and Malatesta in Don Pasquale.

In recent years, he has built a significant international opera career, performing at venues such as the Teatro Real in Madrid, Gran Teatre del Liceu in Barcelona, Palau de les Arts, Teatro Colón in Buenos Aires, Salzburg Whitsun Festival, Ravenna Festival, Opéra de Montpellier, Oviedo Opera, Teatro de la Zarzuela, Teatro de la Maestranza, Teatro Manoel in Malta, Pérez Galdós Theatre, Euskalduna Palace, Munich Gärtnerplatz, and the Graz Opera. He has worked under the stage direction of Hugo de Ana, Krzysztof Warlikowski, Laurent Pelly, Christoph Marthaler, Emilio Sagi, Vincent Boussard, Francisco Negrín, Giancarlo del Monaco, Damiano Michieletto, and Olivier Tambosi. As a concert singer, he has performed in venues such as the Zaragoza Auditorium, National Auditorium of Madrid, Baluarte Auditorium in Pamplona, Monumental Theatre in Madrid, Lleida Auditorium, Cité des Congrès in Nantes and Angers, and the Palma de Mallorca Auditorium, alongside orchestras including the Orchestre National des Pays de la Loire, Balearic Islands Symphony Orchestra, Spanish National Orchestra, Navarra Symphony Orchestra, Madrid Community Orchestra, Enigma Ensemble, Santo Domingo Symphony Orchestra, Salzburg Camerata Orchestra, and the Spanish Radio and Television Symphony Orchestra.
